| Loud -
Project your voice without shouting.
Speech -
Clearly enunciate all words.
Believable - You
must sound like you actually are a true user and believer in the product
being sold and you do this by the tone of your voice.
Natural - It
is very important, when describing or selling a product, that you appear
very natural and move as though it were an everyday event to stand up,
talk about, and describe the product being sold.
Flexibility -
In order for a model to have a long career in commercials, you must be
able to play more than one role. For instance, a model who does a commercial
for toilet bowl cleaners, doesn't want to be known and thereby stereotyped
with only that particular item. Producers as well as client companies tend
to stereotype people just as easily as viewers do. Avoid doing a lot of
one type of commercial.
Eye Contact -
Always look and speak directly into the camera unless specifically instructed
to do otherwise. |
