| If you're a model, doors fly
open! The reasons are apparent. Models, in projecting their own personalities,
are more willing to make changes and try new ways. Models know how to create
an effect without words...a feeling...a mood...an energy.
Models are visible. You'll be right there on the
cover or inside the top magazines, and casting directors, producers, and
clients see the models they want and they call and ask for that specific
model!
Models are in positions to make contacts. Some
of the people who do print shoots also do commercial work and are usually
glad to help models break into commercials.
But having doors open for you is not necessarily
enough. A TV commercial is not the same as a magazine cover, and to succeed
in television, you have to forget you are a model and think actress/actor.
