| The pictures must look like
you...not what you want to look like, not what the photographer
thinks you should look like, not with lots of make-up and multiple
lights and colors and a fan blowing your hair! Photographs are your calling
cards and no actor can be without them. You will need to present them in
two basic forms:
(1.) Photographs for distribution
which are mass-produced and, together with your resume, are given out to
anybody who seems to have a professional reason for wanting them.
(2.) Photographs for your "book"
which you carry around to interviews and auditions and to show interested
directors and producers. All your photographs should be on 8x10 glossy
stock. Here are the variables:
Format:
Single head shot
Composite head shots
Composite head shots plus abbreviated resume
Body shots
Composite of head and body shots
Style:
Studio-posed
