Must have excellent acting skills and move well; Male & Female Singers/Dancers: Versatile singers with strong Broadway-Pop belt, ability to sing contemporary legit and harmonize, excellent acting skills required, advanced dance experience in jazz, ballet and tap required. Must have a solid ‘G’ and developed falsetto; Male & Female Dancers: Experienced dancers with athletic and toned bodies, must have strong technique in jazz, ballet, tap, and partnering. Gymnastics and acting a plus! Notes: • Female Singers & Singer/Dancers: No shorter than 5'4" for Lead Singers and 5'2" for singer/dancers / No taller than 5'9" /dress size 2 – 8 (U.S. sizes). • Male Singers & Singer/Dancers: No Shorter than 5'7" / No taller than 6'3" / suit size 36 – 42 (U.S. sizes) • Female Dancers: No shorter than 5'2" / No taller than 5'9" /dress size 0 – 6 (U.S. sizes). • Male Dancers: No Shorter than 5'6" / No taller than 6'3" / suit size 36 – 42 (U.S. sizes). • You must be at least 18 yrs old to work onboard Holland America Line. • All performers must meet height and weight limits to fit into existing costumes. There are no exceptions to this requirement. Singers must learn songs from our shows. Accompaniment and sheet music for the required song will be provided via CD at the audition. In addition, singers should be prepared to sing their best 16 bars acapella; men should have a pop tune and women a ballad. Singers, please bring a CD player should be you given additional music to sing. If you’re being considered as a LEAD SINGER, you may be asked to stay and do a movement combination. Please be dressed appropriately to sing. If you’re being considered as a SINGER/DANCER, you may be asked to attend a dance call. Please be dressed to sing first. We will give you time to change your clothes if we want to see you dance. Dancers will be taught a challenging combination from our shows. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and that shows your body type. Please wear jazz shoes (NO HEELS). Everyone must arrive one hour prior to their audition time to register, fill out paperwork, and for the singers to learn the audition music. Bring pictures & resume to auditions.
