To play 18-40, any ethnicity. Females Range - G below middle
C, with a strong belt/mix up to a G. Top notes should soar. Males
Range - C below middle C, with the ability to sing comfortably
up to an A. Must be able to sustain an upper range. Come prepared with
one ballad and one up-tempo song in contrasting styles. 16-32 bars. Bring
sheet music in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. We are
looking for R&B, Pop/Rock & Contemporary Music Theater types (Rent,
Wicked, Tommy, Contact, etc…), No Legit (Oklahoma, Sound of Music, Guys
N’ Dolls). Be prepared to learn a short dance/movement combination. Proper
dance attire should be worn for the dance portion of the audition. Dancers:
To play 18-40, any ethnicity, must be technically trained and have a strong
background in jazz, also seeking dancers who have acrobatic and/or flying
skills. Their choreographer will teach three challenging combinations of
contrasting styles. Flying and Tumbling skills a plus. Please come prepared
with proper dance attire (avoid baggy or bulky clothing) and shoes (whatever
you dance comfortably in). Note: You are welcome to audition at 17, however,
you must be 18 to be hired. Bring photographs & resumes. If you are
unable to attend an audition, video/dvd submissions will be accepted. However,
the video/dvd must be in specific format. Videos should be anywhere from
